The Wahkiakum Lions Club officially joined the ranks of the International Association of Lions Clubs on April 14, 1966.

We meet the first and third Monday of each month at the fire hall on Puget Island.  Meetings start at 7:00 p.m. with a potluck followed by club business.

We hold a variety of fund-raisers throughout the year to pay for eye care, glasses, and student scholarships.

News & Announcements

During the year, we will schedule the vision van to come out and do vision screenings for our schools.  We also schedule the van at fair time or other times when it is available.

Residents can apply for help with vision exams, eye glasses, hearing aids, or some other needs by filling out an application form on this website.

Throughout the year the Lions Club will be fund raising to raise money for student scholarships and eye care in Wahkiakum County.

Fund raisers include fresh and frozen berry sales in the summer, paper recyclling, fireworks sales, and bingo games at the county fair.

Please support your community by participating in these fund-raising events!

Each month during the school year, the Lions Club will select a "Student of the Month" to be recognized for academic excellence and to receive a small stipend.

At the end of the school year, the Lions Club will award four students from Wahkiakum High School and Naselle High Schools $500.00 scholarships.
